Bridesmaids, Cake

Went to Tiffany’s baby shower today, and found it a perfect opportunity to ask her to be in the wedding. She accepted, and that’s very exciting. I now have my three best friends in the world standing up with me. I am very blessed.

Spent part of the evening at Borders with Stephen - he perusing computer books, me paging through wedding stuff. Came across a St. Louis bridal magazine, wherein I found two wonderful items - a picture of a cake I adore, and several bouquets that are breathtaking.

The cake is white (duh) with fondant icing-ish stuff and corneli lace. It had three levels, which are held apart by tiers. On top of each tier are bunches of red roses - real roses. It is such a beautiful cake. (And I think it can be done with cheesecake as well - I’ll have to double-check.)
