The favors at the reception are going to be 2 1/2″ terra cotta flower pots painted apple red and filled as candles. I’m making the candles myself, in what I hope becomes a candle-making hobby.

We’ve been painting flower pots for about two weeks now. Finally, tonight, they are completely red inside and out, and about half are varnished on the outside. Hopefully by the end of next week they’ll be finished, and my candle-making supplies will arrive!
