Honeymoon

Beach. Water. Sun. Sleep. Food. Drink. Read. Etc.

This is what a honeymoon should be made of. According to us.

Finally had a chance to stop by the travel agent’s office today. The poor lady should have ducked when she saw us open the door. When she asked what we were looking for, we gave her the aforementioned list. That’s it.

We proceeded to shoot down her next three suggestions: Cancun (been there), Jamaica (don’t know why, just no) and Puerta Vallarta (heard bad things).

She swung immediately to Aruba, and I started thinking about my trip to the Dominican Republic. How wonderful it was, and how I hated to leave. That’s the kind of place you should go on a honeymoon, isn’t it?

We finally settled on a place. We’re going back to Punta Cana, D.R. It’s a resort called Secrets Excellence. I’ve been reading up on it, and I can’t find anything wrong. It’s all-inclusive, and they treat honeymooners really well. It’s a wonderful place to do nothing, which is our big goal. We’ll book the place next week.
