Suddenly I have a new hobby. I’m a candlemaker.

I made one hundred vanilla candles in cute little flower pots for wedding favors. It was a ton of fun. And then the monster was created.

Stephen came up with the name Midnight Wax, and he’s going to sell them at his mom’s shop. I thought that was pretty cool. I can’t officially sell them, you see, because I’m locked down by my firm. They don’t allow that type of thing. So this is Stephen’s company. ::sigh:: It’s actually a good thing, though, because he’s as into it as I am. We spent time last Friday night coming up with scent combinations to try out for layered candles.

My orders to the wholesalers have been placed, and the midnightwax.com domain name has been purchased. And, as if I needed just one more thing to do, I am now a candle “hobbyist.”
