Oh Yes, It's Christmastime

The weight of Christmas hit me full on today. Instead of heading into work, I instead cleaned out a space for the tree, piled presents onto the dining room table, and began wrapping them. I dragged all the boxes of Christmas paraphernalia from the basement, chopped pecans for holiday bread for my clients, and generally ran around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Thankfully, Justin and I managed to find a Christmas tree we liked without a problem, and my mom provided the transportation for it (as 6ft trees generally don't fit into Mazda Miatas). The day passed without all the drama of past days spent hunting Christmas trees, which was a relief in and of itself.

The evening was spent enjoying some down time at Borders, and then finishing off "The Prisoner of Azkaban" with a Lush bath bomb and spiked hot chocolate. Really, I needed this night off to think, and reorganize my thoughts, and generally just be. Insanity comes soon enough.
